Pottery Classes for Charter School Students
Welcome to our outdoor pottery studio—where creativity meets clay under the open sky, where friendly farm animals such as chickens, goats, and pigs may wander by to say hello! We offer Hand Building and Wheel Throwing classes designed especially for children enrolled in charter school programs.
👐 Hand Building (Ages 5 and up)
In these fun and flexible classes, kids can choose from a variety of project ideas while learning foundational pottery techniques. Each piece is uniquely theirs—from start to finish! After creating their project, students will return 3–4 weeks later to glaze their piece, adding color and personality before it’s fired and ready to take home.
🎡 Wheel Throwing (Ages 10 and up)
Wheel classes start with the basics and progress at your child’s pace. Since mastering the wheel takes time and practice, we offer class packages so your child can grow their skills over multiple sessions and gain confidence with each spin.
🌿 For Charter Families
If your child is enrolled in a charter program, you're in the right place! Please book your preferred date on our website and choose the "Charter Class" option at checkout. You’ll then be able to submit payment through your charter school. We’re happy to work with your program and support you through the process.
👟 What to Know Before You Come
Classes are held both outside and in our outdoor pottery studio. Kids should wear closed-toe shoes, and long hair must be tied back to keep things safe and fun.
🎨 Our goal is simple: to let children explore, create, and get messy in nature, while bringing home a handmade treasure they’ll be proud of—with a few animal friends nearby to cheer them on!
*Classes offered to charter students are all non-religious
